Spring - Junior/Senior - 13-16 Year Olds

At Langley Baseball we have created a tiered system for our 13-16 year old Division. We offer a JR Division consisting of 13 and 14 Year Olds, as well as a SR Division that is offered for our 15 and 16 Year Olds.

The JR Division: Plays from April 1- Mid June.

This is geared to provide a positive experience for all levels of players. We will offer AA and A level teams, with a possible AAA Level Development Team if we have adequate registration and skill levelled players to create these teams.

Our AA JR teams will play against outside Little League Teams, as well as some BC Minor Teams. They will compete in our own Sheila Engh Pink Bat Mothers Day Tournament as well as 1-2 other tournaments. There is an additional "TEAM FEE" cost for our AA level players to pay after the teams are created that will be between $200-$400 that covers the extra tournaments and the hoodies/t-shirts/hats this team will get. (Jerseys too of course which are returned at the end of the season). This amount will be communicated and collected as teams are being made.

Our "A" JR teams play interlock with other leagues as well as an in-house schedule. This level is great for kids newer to baseball or who are just not able to commit to a higher level team for various reasons. An all star team from this level (by tryout/interest) will also play in our Pink Bat Mothers Day Tournament, and one other outside tournament if it's available. (Usually at Mt Seymour or Coquitlam). There is no "EXTRA FEE" for this level and the kids will receive a warm up shirt as well as a hat. (Jerseys too of course which are returned at the end of the season).

AAA JR Development team: This will be a team of 15-20 kids who are higher skilled AA-AAA level players and will have games on either a Saturday or Sunday each week and possibly one tournament. They will play against other Little Leagues AAA level teams for additional competition to aid their skill development during the spring season. There will be an additional charge for this team of $50.00 and will be determined by tryouts/interest.

Summer Teams for this age group usually include a JR District Team, and. a JR Selects team, if we have enough player and coach interest for both.

The SR Division: Plays from April 1- Mid June.

This division is also tiered if we have sufficient talent and players to tier. There will be a tryout and those not offered a spot on the AA SR Team, will be offered a spot on either a "A" SR Team (If we have enough players for 2 teams), or will be offered a spot in our JR "A" Division. This team will play in 1-3 tournaments and also plays an interlock Schedule with other Little Leagues.

We may or may not have a Summer SR District Team, it will be determined by player and coach interest closer to the season's end.
