About Us

Mission Statement

Langley Baseball is dedicated to empowering athletes through resilience and sportsmanship, providing optimal opportunities for our youth to develop their skills and passion for the game. We prioritize respect for others and respect for the game itself, fostering a fun and safe environment where players can thrive. Additionally, we commit to developing coaches and umpires who inspire and guide our youth, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all.

History

Langley Baseball Association has over 50 years’ experience as a Little League ball club. We’re proud to have sent many teams over the years to the Provincials, Nationals and World Championships, including sending teams to the 1998 and 2011 World Series Championship in Williamsport, PA.  In 1995, Langley represented Canada in both the Senior and Big League World Series and had back to back participation on the District-based teams that went to the 1999 and 2000 Big League Word Series, winning the International Championship the first year and the World Championship the next.

Our 2011 champs undertook another adventure and travelled to Uganda to compete with Team Uganda as part of a documentary called Fair Ball, a moving film created by Sportsnet about "the game that never was". Watch and learn what baseball really means to the kids and what Langley Baseball is all about.

Over the years, we have hosted numerous District and Provincial Tournaments, most notable are the highly successful 2012 Challenger Provincials and most recently the 9/10 Year Old Provincial Tournament where our very own Langley team took top honours in 2023.

The facility is ideal for tournaments with 4 diamonds, batting cage, concessions, central Langley location and nearby park and amenities.

"To say we’re an enthusiastic and supportive ball club might just be an understatement!"

Visitors to the area enjoy our urban/rural community of Langley that has an inspiring mix of cosmopolitan amenities and abundance of scenic farmland with outdoor recreational pursuits.

The club has a dedicated volunteer base that’s skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working. They’ve been the heart of the club for over 50 years, holding the vision and creating the positive, enriching environment for our kids. Many of our current coaches grew up playing in the league. Our kids are the life of the club. Each athlete has a passion for the game and discovers personal growth and confidence when they take their spot on the field.
